Maddy is 42 months old

We opened the campground on Friday, May 4th at noon.  It has been a busy spring, but we have tried to make time for fun too.  We celebrated birthdays for Debbie's mom and brother.  We also were invited and attended a 1 year old's birthday party (neighbors of Debbie's mom).  Maddy had a great time and learned how to HELP celebrate when it's someone else's birthday.  We enjoyed our first boat ride.  Maddy had her first swim of the season, but the water was still cold so it didn't last too long.  She has been enjoying the other children now that they have returned to the campground.  Whether building sand castles, swinging or playing on the playground with friends, she LOVES being social.  Whenever she gets the chance, Maddy is out the door so she can ride her Strider balance bike.  It doesn't have pedals.  It is foot powered (think Flintstone).  She can really go on it though!  At last check, Maddy now weighs 37.6 lbs and is 39 and 7/8 inches tall.  We introduced her to two classic Disney movies this month, "Lady and the Tramp" and "Fox and the Hound".  So many darling movies to expose her to, so little time.  We did go to preschool screening, but we'll update you about that next time.  Enjoy the warmer weather!
