Madeline is 10 months old!

Maddy is a ball of energy. She pulled herself up for the first time on 9/14/09 and, since then, has learned how to get back down too. She hasn't gained any weight this month which is very surprising because she is eating large amounts regularly. She is 29 inches long and still weighs 20 pounds. Her meals consist mostly of regular food because she is refusing baby food. Her 3rd tooth came in on 9/22/09 to help her chew her steak, chicken, fish, and anything else we eat. The new tooth is on the bottom, to the left of the existing teeth. As mentioned previously, Madeline doesn't sit still much these days and loves standing so her favorite toys this month include her activity table, her car from Jerry & Donna Split and her xylophone. She could barely see where she was going so, thanks to her cousin Tiffany, Maddy endured her first hair/bang trim on 9/11/09. Those shiney scissors were so fascinating.

Grandma & Grandpa Escherich surprised us all with the ultimate new playground set for Maddy and the other kids on the campground. It is so cool! Maddy will be on it constantly when she gets a little older, but had a lot of fun trying it out.

Her list of cute skills learned now includes waving hi & bye, giving high fives and she clapped for the first time this month on 9/29/09. We already have a Halloween costume, but you'll just have to tune in next month to see her trick or treating skills.

New Rainbow "swingset" (on steroids). It is 5' tall with a platform and canopy, has a rock wall, swings, a glider, a tire swing, rope swing, slide, etc., etc.

Maddy's ears are healed. We traded the studs for some new bling.
